New Directions is a safe and supportive place for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We provide emergency shelter, advocacy, and a range of services to help survivors regain safety, confidence, and stability.
What Is Domestic Violence?
Domestic violence involves using fear, intimidation, coercion, threats, or violence to gain power and control over another person. It includes, but is not limited to:
- Emotional abuse
- Economic abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Isolation
- Physical abuse
