Marie Detty New Directions has a Sexual Assault Response team that consists of staff and volunteers that offer crisis intervention, advocacy and support.
This support is offered 7 days a week 24 hours a day to those that have been victimized by sexual violence.

Stalking is a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to feel fear. Unlike other crimes that involve a single incident, stalking is a pattern of behavior. It is often made up of individual acts that could, by themselves, seem harmless or noncriminal, but when taken in the context of a stalking situation, could constitute criminal acts.

We are fortunate to have an on-site climate controlled pet shelter available to our shelter residents. This allows survivors to bring their pet to a safe place.
Approved pets must come with shot records.

New Directions has a Court Advocate that provides support for Comanche, Caddo, and Cotton counties.
Non-residential services are also available to survivors, free of charge that include case management, counseling, and court advocacy.
While in shelter, survivors have access to individual counseling, group counseling, advocacy, legal aid, and case management.
The Youth Advocate offers resources and services to children in the shelter that promotes safety, understanding and healing.
