Our Active Parenting program is designed to help families build stronger relationships and learn practical parenting skills.
Topics include:
- Building stronger connections with children
- Being proactive rather than reactive
- Effective communication and discipline
- Modeling emotional regulation and coping skills
- Teaching children responsibility
- Encouraging confidence
Duration: 4 - 5 weeks, totaling 8 hours of education
Cost: $20 registration fee (non-refundable)
Materials: Book and workbook provided

Anger Management
Our program uses the SAMHSA curriculum to help participants develop healthy coping skills and manage anger effectively.
Topics include:
- Self-awareness and examining current habits
- Developing individualized anger control plans
- Coping with stress and triggers
- Embracing assertiveness
- Cognitive restructuring and conflict resolution
Duration: 4 - 5 weeks, totaling 8 hours of education
Cost: $100 (OJA funded clients only pay $20 to cover registration fee)
