Prevention Classes

Parenting

Our Active Parenting program is designed to help families build stronger relationships and learn practical parenting skills.


Topics include:

  • Building stronger connections with children
  • Being proactive rather than reactive
  • Effective communication and discipline
  • Modeling emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Teaching children responsibility
  • Encouraging confidence


Duration: 4 - 5 weeks, totaling 8 hours of education

Cost: $20 registration fee (non-refundable)

Materials: Book and workbook provided


Join us to gain valuable tools, strategies, and support for raising happy, healthy children.

Anger Management

Our program uses the SAMHSA curriculum to help participants develop healthy coping skills and manage anger effectively.
 

Topics include:

  • Self-awareness and examining current habits
  • Developing individualized anger control plans
  • Coping with stress and triggers
  • Embracing assertiveness
  • Cognitive restructuring and conflict resolution


Duration: 4 - 5 weeks, totaling 8 hours of education

Cost: $100 (OJA funded clients only pay $20 to cover registration fee) 

Materials: Workbook provided


Learn strategies to manage stress, communicate effectively, and build healthier relationships. TIPS FOR ANGER MANAGEMENT

Class Information

  • Classes are flexible and adapted to meet client needs.
  • Call to confirm the location of your class.
  • Pre-registration is required, and the registration fee must be paid before attending.
  • Certificates of Completion are provided once the class cost is paid in full.
  • Services are available at our Lawton and Duncan locations.
