Marie Detty Youth and Family Services Center provides services to juvenile first time offenders. Services are provided to juvenile offenders for minor offenses to prevent them from further entering the justice system. The program requires juveniles and their parents to participate in a 12-hour curriculum designed to intervene and prevent juveniles from further delinquent behavior.
Currently the First Time Offender Program is free to the public through the generosity of the Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs.
The family learns skills on communication, socialization skills, anger management, problem solving, decision-making, values and understanding the consequences of their negative behavior.
